Reading these rules is your own responsibility; any "I didn't know" will not be tolerated.

There is one thing we DO NOT tolerate, and that is the harassing of other members. If you are caught, or someone makes a complaint, you will be warned and if you persist, you will be removed.

Please, be active, and if you say you'll post in a thread, please post!

Any open threads shall be marked with (open) in the title. If your thread is closed or for one person only please write (closed) or (the person's name).

Although this is multi-leveled, we do expect a basic degree of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Please, for the sakes of all the other players, observe the English language!

No godmoding, or controlling other characters. "Jane pushed Bill over and he hit the ground with a hard thud" is unacceptable. "Jane pushed Bill as hard as she could, hoping he would fall" however, is fine.

One character per account. We're more than happy for you to have a few accounts, but please, keep your characters separate.

Erm... For the moment, I can't think of anything else, but admins, g-mods and mods can edit this thread, and will, should new situations arise which give need for new rules.

This is something that has come to my attention in the last few days. If players are going to post, please finish the thread before posting it, or wait til it is finished. Please do not post a few lines and then say it will be continued, as this is very frustrating for other players. Many thanks, Porcelain. (Edit from Titan - This was mostly aimed at me, wasn't it? When plots get going, we will try to include everyone. If, for some reason you're not included (either because we can't use your character, or if we have something special planned for a certain character, or because you joined after we developed the plot), don't bitch and moan because you're not involved. Make yourself active and we'll notice you and put you into a plot. [Edit - This isn't aimed at anyone, it's a rule for the future.]

This is another one that has recently come to my attention... We ARE trying to keep this board to PG-13, which means romance (but no sex) and the MINIMUM of swear words are OK (or in Gigi's case, just swear in French

). But, we do understand that sometimes, there's nowhere else for your thread to go. So, with that in mind, we introduce the rule that as soon as your thread gets to that point (heehee) we ask that you CLEARLY mark in the title what rating it is. Like, OK, take the thread "Coffee Date?" It gets to be a little higher than PG-13. So the thread title should be changed to "Coffee Date? [R]" - If this is not done, and I will know because I read all threads, then I reserve the right to change the thread title to "Smut! Don't Read!" and the thread will be locked until a PM of apology has been sent to me (Titan) and I have accepted the apology and posted a warning on your profile for Admins to read only. If it's done again, you will recieve a warning PM, and a note saying "Second Offence" will be posted. Any more, you will be banned for a period of time I see fit. And I am a bitch, so don't push your luck.

I'm not trying to be mean, For all I know, there could be kids younger than Gigi who come on here. We have a duty of care to protect underage kids from seeing anything their parents would sue me for

EDIT - I maybe was too harsh. You will first get a memo, reminding you to change it. If it is not done the process explained above will ensue.
